A week in the life - Super Hero edition

Published: Tuesday, 19 September 2017

"A week in the life" is a new blog series where I will be sharing a little recap of what I worked on throughout the week. You will get to take a peek inside my studio, see what's new in my shop, from new colour combinations to entirely new products, and I will link to all of them so you can easily find them before they're gone!

I tend to work on my orders 'in series', so there will most likely be a predominant theme each week. This past week was definitely all about those capes! With Halloween fast approaching, super heroes around the world are looking to suit up and look the part... trick-or-treating is serious business.

I made so many Super Hero sets this past week that my studio was starting to look like Marvel and DC's headquarters had joined forces inside my house (which wouldn't be all that terrible, if you ask me).

There were bright capes, dark capes, kids capes, long capes, and even a tiny baby cape... because super heroes come in all shapes, colours and sizes.

Some of the colours are temporarily out of stock now (I did make A LOT of capes), but there are some new colour combos available that definitely make up for the sold-out ones (though I'm hoping to re-stock ASAP!).

Blue and green cape available here. Red and Royal Blue cape available here.

These new Emerald Green & Black capes kind of remind me of The Green Lantern. How cool would they be with the actual logo on them?

And speaking of well known super heroes, the dark knight was apparently EVERYWHERE this week...

But he wasn't the only one in my studio. There's a new guy around here now. He calls himself Superman...

Superman and Supergirl capes available in several colours.

Another new one in my shop is this Magenta Purple & Red combo, which will definitely make a statement among them villains...

Or you could choose to go light and subtle with a Pink and Aqua cape...

Or turn right to the dark side in an all Black one (Darth Vader would be proud)...

But no matter what colours you choose to show your super powers in, make sure to get your new villain-fighting outfit on time for Halloween!

Silver cape available here. Red and Navy Blue cape available here.

Later Gator,

Julia (with an H)
